- Fostering a culture where everyone is actively involved in setting a good example and pursuing, adopting and sharing good HSSE practice. Our people are empowered to challenge and stop work if they are in any doubt regarding a task they are involved in or observing.

- Establishing, communicating and developing our HSSE management systems through a process of continuously striving for improved HSSE performance.
- Identifying and assessing HSSE risks in our workplace, including the risks arising from any form of change, and ensuring they are effectively managed, and that areas for improvement are prioritised.
- Identifying, understanding and complying with requirements of applicable legislation, international standards and best practices.
- Clearly establishing HSSE objectives and key performance indicators and measuring our performance against them through internal/external audits to ensure compliance.
- Providing the structure and resources necessary to achieve and measure HSSE accountability. Ensuring our people have the required competency and are fit for work.

- Developing and implementing training programmes to improve the HSSE skills and knowledge of our people, and disseminate HSSE information to all our people, contractors and others in the workplace.
- All incidents, near misses and opportunities for improvement are consistently reported and investigated, and that identified actions and learnings are implemented on a timely basis.
